Corrections – Report an Error

We work hard to keep North Dakota Arrests accurate, but public records systems change constantly — agencies update their portals, counties switch software, fees change, and phone numbers get reassigned. If you’ve found something on this site that’s wrong, outdated, or unclear, please tell us. You’ll be helping the next person who needs the same information.

What to report

Use the form below to flag anything that doesn’t look right, such as:

  • A broken or outdated link to a county or state records system
  • A phone number, address, fee, or office hour that has changed
  • Information that no longer matches what an official source shows
  • A typo, an unclear instruction, or something that’s hard to follow

To help us fix it quickly, please include the page you were on (the web address), what looks wrong, and — if you have it — the correct information and where you saw it (for example, the official county or court page). You don’t need to share any personal details, and you don’t have to leave your name.

What we can fix — and what we can’t

We can fix anything that’s wrong in our guidance — a bad link, an outdated fee, a wrong phone number, or a confusing explanation. That’s exactly what this form is for, and we’re grateful when you point it out.

We cannot change, remove, seal, or hide an official record. North Dakota Arrests is an informational guide — we don’t hold or control any arrest, court, or jail records. Only the courts and agencies that own a record have the authority to change or seal it. So if your request is to take down or erase a record itself, this form can’t do that, and neither can we.

If you want a North Dakota record sealed or expunged, that happens through the courts — not through us. Our North Dakota arrest records guide explains how sealing and expungement actually work in the state and where to begin. If we’ve described that process incorrectly, we’re glad to fix it — just let us know through the form.

    How we handle your report

Every report comes to the North Dakota Arrests Editorial Team, and we do our best to review each one. When we can confirm an issue against the official primary source, we apply the correction — usually within 48 hours. Some changes take a little longer when we need to verify details with an agency.

Thank you for helping us keep this site accurate. Reliable public-records information depends on people like you letting us know when something needs a second look.
